AVATAR GREEN is a web-portal for people who want answers to sustainability questions, and have a bit of fun while doing it.

AVATAR GREEN is built on the Integral Philiosphy of Ken Wilber*. This means that you'll be able to assess your enterprise from all the aspects that are important to you in one tool, from measuring energy and waste to the impact of corporate culture and even the economic context your business or department operates in.

Built on the basis of a 6 stages of sustainability model, and including the holistic approach provided by Ken Wilbers 4 quadrant analysis of holons* (meaning 'whole things') AVATAR GREEN provides you with a simple tool built on a very sophisticated basis that allows you to trawl through the unbelievable mass of information on the web to find the piece you need quickly and with minimal fuss, and from a source you can trust*.

What AVATAR GREEN offers:
- a unique navigation system that allows you to search the web's sustainability world quickly and easily.
- A six stage model based on the Integral approach that allows you to assses the sustainability of your enterprise from as holistic a perspective as you wish
- A spider-mapping graph that allows you to see 'at a glance' where your enterprise is strong and where it's weak from a sustainabilty perspective (you decide whether you want to do anything about it from there)
- A spider-mapping graph that allows you to compare 'at a glance' how your enterprise is tracking compared with the rest of your enterprise, your niche or sector, other enterprises in your geographical area etc.

These two graphs put together form the heart of the AVATAR GREEN system, both it's assessment system and it's navigation and networking driver*.

Put together, these two graphs can represent any cross section of your eterprise and the environment in which it operates. You will generally get a lumpy sphere representing the areas where you and your environment are strong or weak, compare well or badly. You can chop and change these graphs to represent almost any mix of context or aspect of your enterprise (so long as you put the relevant informqation into fleshing out your graph). The contextual half of the sphere is automatically poulated by the information provided AVATAR Green from the hundreds of other indivuals, enterprises, governements, departments, even socail clubs or schools that have accesses the portal to assess how they're tracking and see about what they can do next.

The more people using the system, the more useful and comprehensive it becomes*.
